Spectrum’s retained client is a mid-size (£25m turnover), privately owned provider of outsourced back and front office services to enterprises globally.
Headquartered in the UK, our client’s demand generation / outsourced sales business contributes circa £5 million in annual revenue to the group and has a team of 400.
Reporting to the Group CEO, a commercial leader is now required to drive growth within the demand generation business. This could be in the form of a VP Sales, or, for those with a broader functional skillset, Managing Director.
The overall purpose of the role is to drive revenue growth whilst reorienting the business from its SME customer base to mid-size and large enterprise customers. This evolution will require the business to recruit an enterprise team and to develop an enterprise value proposition.
Suitable candidates will possess a background in outsourced demand generation (or similar) services and are likely to hold either a sales leadership position (VP/Director) or a broader general management role (GM/MD). If it is the latter, candidates should possess a strong sales leadership skillset.
This role will provide the appointed candidates with the opportunity to join the group’s senior leadership team, and to join an agile business with an established team and customer base. Success will see the candidate successfully balance short term objectives with strategic, medium term goals.
