Organisations are increasingly seeing the benefits of hiring professional women back into their workforces following a longer-than-maternity career break.
Women Returners is a consulting, coaching and network organisation enabling professional women to return to the workforce after an extended career break. It was founded in 2012, by London based Chartered Psychologist, Julianne Miles, following her own four-year career break to raise two children, after a decade in corporate strategy & marketing.
They offer a unique blend of support to both individual women and corporate organisations seeking to attract and hire this talented population. As well as offering online support, advice and information to a fast-expanding network of over 2,000 women, they work with organisations across business sectors such as EY, Skanska and O2 to create supported routes back to mid-senior level corporate roles.
This presents exciting opportunities for women and business alike, particularly given that this is a population that has been traditionally ignored by UK business and a difficult talent pool to reach.
