Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President Identity & Security appointed at Isabel

Established in 1995 in Brussels, Isabel Group is a leading provider of multi-banking services for professional users, and is Belgium’s biggest fintech.

Spectrum were retained to conduct a search for a Chief Information Security Officer in Q1 2017, and were then asked to conduct a search for Vice President to lead Isabel’s Identity & Security Business Unit in Q4 2017.

In both cases a full search was conducted: of the banking industry for the CISO search, and of the specialist identity management industry for the VP search. Both searches focussed geographically on Belgium and its European neighbours.

Shortlist candidates met first with the company’s CHRO, followed by a final session with the CEO. Both searches were successfully completed.

Daniel Osmer, Managing Partner of Spectrum said: “Open banking represents a significant opportunity and a threat as markets become increasingly competitive. Isabel sits in the heart of Europe, and we were delighted to be selected to deliver these leadership appointments as the company continues its evolution as a business”.
