Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer appointments at venture capital backed, event driven B2B SaaS organisation, Push Technology

Spectrum is pleased to confirm the successful appointments of Grethe Brown as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Riaz Mohammed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at scaling trans-Atlantic software business, Push Technology (Push).

Push is a Series A funded venture which is backed by a number of investors, including Maven Capital Partners and Guinness Ventures.

The objective of the two searches was to strengthen the executive management team to enable the company’s growth ambitions. The COO was a newly created role that would bring operational rigour to the business, and the CTO would succeed the former job holder and drive forward the company’s development activities in-line with the needs of the market.

Working closely with the Chairman, the search strategy focussed exclusively on scaling B2B SaaS organisations. 

Grethe Brown is the former Chief Operating Officer at Vizolution. Previously, she was Director of Operations, Europe at Ascom, and, prior to that was Global Director of Customer Support & Services at Anite. Grethe began her career in software development at Ericsson. Grethe holds an MBA from the University of Surrey, UK and a BSc Mathematics from Linköping University, Sweden.

Riaz Mohammed is the former Technical Director, EMEA at Hazelcast. Previously, Riaz worked at Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Cazenove, Nomura International, HSBC, and Software AG. Riaz holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from the University of Kerala, India. 

These two key leadership appointments will further enable Push Technology’s goal of building a significant event-driven applications business, and of successfully driving expansion into its target sectors globally.
