Group Non-Executive Director and Managing Director appointments at private equity backed workplace learning organisation, 3t Energy Group
Spectrum is pleased to confirm the successful appointments of Elaine Safier to the board of 3t Energy Group (3t), and Grant Crow as Managing Director of 3t’s digital learning and workforce development business, 3t Transform.
3t is backed by Bluewater, a private equity firm focussed on the global energy sector transition, and provides technology-enabled training services globally to the world’s leading companies primarily in the energy market.
The objective of the two searches was to provide strategic group-level digital expertise to the board in the case of the Group NED appointment, and B2B SaaS commercial growth experience in the case of the Managing Director, 3t Transform appointment.
Working closely with the 3t board, the search strategy encompassed the B2B SaaS, EdTech, and workplace digital learning sectors.
Elaine Safier is the former Chief Digital Officer at Mind Gym. Previously, she was Chief Commercial & Operating Officer – Digital Channels at HSBC Retail Banking & Wealth Management. Elaine holds a MBA and a BSc from Wharton.
Dr. Grant Crow is the former CEO of SmilePass, and of i-nexus. Previously, Grant was CEO of ExecuTRACK Ltd. which was acquired by Stepstone. Grant began his career in his native South Africa, where he was a Founder of Kagiso Leadership Institute, which successfully IPO’d on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 1999. Grant holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Brunel University and an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate School.
These two key leadership appointments will further enable 3t’s strategic objectives of building a significant SaaS-based business, and of driving expansion into the renewable energy and other industry sectors.
