Non-Executive Chair appointment at property rental app company, Movebubble

Movebubble is London’s number one property rental platform, as chosen by The Evening Standard. Founded in 2014, the company’s mission is to make renting a property more efficient.

Spectrum was retained by Movebubble’s Founder & CEO, Aidan Rushby, to search for a Non-Executive Chair to lead the company’s board and to provide strategic support and challenge to the CEO.

Spectrum conducted a geographically broad search for potential candidates. Suitable executives would be entrepreneurial, international, and from an online platform or marketplace background.

A shortlist was presented, resulting in the appointment of Tom Jozefacki as Non-Executive Chair of Movebubble. The process took 7 weeks from start to finish.

Based in Warsaw, Poland, Tom was educated at The University of Maryland and New York University Stern School of Business, where he completed his MBA. Tom began his career at The New York Times before returning to Poland where he was CEO of the Internet Division of Agora, Poland’s 3rd largest media group. He then became CEO of publicly-listed employee benefits company, Benefit Systems. Tom now pursues an international portfolio career embracing board, advisory and investment activities.

Daniel Osmer, Managing Partner, Spectrum said “Many of us have experienced the property rental market, and the frustrations and inefficiencies that it presents to renters and landlords. We were delighted to have the opportunity to support Movebubble with this appointment as they continue their journey of shaking up this market for the better. We wish Aidan and Tom every continued success”.
