CEOs and entrepreneurs tend to focus 100% on their business, and their own needs often come a distant second.

But, it’s a good idea to pre-plan for the psychological and financial transformation that a positive exit entails.

In this webinar, Ben Stern, Partner at Lincoln Private Investment Office will guide us through what entrepreneurs and shareholding management should consider pre-exit, and why.

In a punchy half-hour lunchtime (UK) Q&A session, we’ll cover:

  1. What is LPIO – Lincoln Private Investment Office, and why did you set it up?
  2. The drive towards a company ‘exit’ is primarily-focused on preparing the company. Why should entrepreneurs and other key individual equity holders personally plan for capital realisation in advance?
  3. What are the key factors the entrepreneur should be thinking about at this stage?
  4. However, research suggests that most entrepreneurs don’t pre-plan. What would your advice be once the exit has been achieved and funds deposited in their bank account?
  5. In your experience, what are the traps to look out for and key mistakes for entrepreneurs to avoid?
  6. As your client base tends to be younger and more entrepreneurial than many wealth management firms, how does this client profile affect the way Lincoln works & interacts with clients?
  7. Does your client profile impact their investing style and preferences?
  8. Aside from the finance side of things, what, in your experience should entrepreneurs think about before what is often a life-changing event?
  9. What do those who have created wealth through exiting one venture tend to go on and do afterwards? How do they react?
  10. Is philanthropy, charitable giving and the like often part of the dialogue?
